Many successful people have always wanted to exercise and keep fit. But they just simply cannot find the time. Day time is often occupied with a stream of non-stop activities. So the most common excuse for not exercising becomes - "no time!"
But if you know what it takes to keep fit, then this excuse becomes useless. All it takes is just 30 minutes a day to keep fit. Read that again - just 30 minutes a day and you can be as fit as a fiddle. You don't have to spend hours training like a professional. But you do have to fork out 30 minutes each day to work on your fitness. Where does the 30 extra minutes come from?

Well, you will have to make time. For instance, you can try walking to work. If you are taking public transport, alight earlier and walk to your work place. If you don't want to arrive all sweaty, you can always do the opposite and walk home. Alternatively, you can choose to climb the stairs if you stay in a high rise apartment. There are many ways to exercise - you just have to be creative.
When you exercise, don't just move at a leisurely pace. You will not be getting out of your comfort zone if you do that. Your heart and muscles will not become stronger.
So what is the right way to exercise?
Spend the first 5 minutes warming up. Do some stretching and light jogging. You are left with 25 minutes of time. Exercise at an intense pace for at least 5 minutes. Then take 2 mins to recover. Do the same for 3 sets. That will take up a total of 21 minutes. If you have more time and energy, do one or two more sets.
Remember, the key here is to get your heart rate up. So find some activity that offers greater resistance - like striding or sprinting up a hill.
If you are just starting out, you will suffer quite a bit in the beginning. Your muscles will also become sore the next day. But don't let that put you off! That is just temporary pain and suffering. In a few short weeks, you find that you breath easier going up the hills or stairs. It's a sign that your fitness is improving.
More and more people are also starting to workout at night. That is because they have to get up early to go to work for the day. And the entire day is spent at work. The only free time left is at night.
Some people tend to feel lethargic after work and avoid working out. They have low energy levels. If you persist and workout at night, you will find that your energy level will increase. You are able to focus better at work, and may even find yourself going for more social outings. More energy naturally leads to more activities. The quality of life will certainly improve.
After working out at night, make sure you consume an adequate amount of nutrition.
